Nursery
(3 to 4 Years)
Promoting a child’s independence
Within the IGCSE framework, the Nursery level is designed to meet the developmental requirements of children aged 3 to 4 years old. This stage focuses on promoting a child’s independence as well as their cognitive, emotional, and physical development. Children engage in hands-on activities, story sessions, and simple arts and crafts as part of their play-based learning. Language and communication skills development is a priority for educators, who encourage engagement and expressive talents. The emphasis at Nursery is on developing positive interactions with peers and educators, resulting in a safe and supportive environment in where each child’s individual strengths and interests are acknowledged and developed.
